This app might look like a harmless way to navigate your phone’s folders and files, but it opens up an irreversibly insecure backdoor.
The truth is that the only way hackers could access your phone and turn this app into their command center would be if you downloaded malware from another source.
However, once they do get in, they can use the app to copy or delete anything on your device including any apps you’ve already downloaded. Plus, since the information is sent over unencrypted lines, somebody could intercept all of your data if they were close enough (like at a coffee shop).
