Have you heard the one about leaving the phone plugged in past its full 100% battery capacity because it maxes out its battery’s efficiency? Well, that’s a myth. There is a controller built into every device that prevents batteries from taking on more current than necessary, so in that regard your battery is fine.
Having said that, you do not want to charge your phone perpetually and, in fact, you will get the most out of your battery if you do not keep it 100% or almost 100% charged all the time. It performs best when between 40% and 80% capacity, so always aim to keep your phone in that charge range if possible.
